Being Thankful, Faith Blog hop.

Welcome to our monthly Faith Blog Hop. We are delighted that you have decided to join us and are praying that the Lord would impact your life through what we have to share with you.
If you came from Christels Blog, then you are on the right track. When you just came across this post, and want to hop along, then go back to the beginning at Nana's. There you will read the beautiful words for this hop, along with some youtube video songs, to listen to!

This month's hop is focussed on Being Thankful, even when life gives you no reasons.'
Our prayer is that you are blessed, touched, moved and inspired to look at what we have to share and decide to make it your own. We are opening up the challenge to see what you will create. Throughout the hop you will find RAK's, so please feel free to leave comments about your reactions, and thoughts. We love to hear from you!

May the Lord bless you and keep you! May His face to shine upon you.

Here is the project I made for this Theme. I was so glad for having this theme. Right now I am still struggling with my burnout from time to time. In about 5 years I have had 2 burnouts. Both were on different jobs, but with the same employer, which I work for 9 years now.
Sometimes I just feel like I will never get back to the old Wendy. The one who was always so positive, and that nothing ever was going wrong. Everything was always good in my life  (now I know how foolish that was, thinking of me be some kind of superwoman ;-)   ).

But maybe it's good to have had these burnouts. Not that I was screaming out loud: "YES! Give me some burnouts please!"   No, not at all!! But I see that this also works for good in my life, eventually. So I will be thankful for having these moments in my life. Now I feel like really becoming the Wendy that I am. Not the one I thought I would or should be. But coming more to the core of me. And no, I don't like it at all that I've had to go through these phases, difficulties and struggles. Feeling like I cannot do anything. Having inherited panic attacks and sometimes feel like I am no good to this world. That I am not able to work full time like "every one else" in this world. That, because of this,  I am a lesser human or something like that. But you know.....Everytime these thoughts pop up in my mind, I just want to praise the Lord. And THANK Him for making me in His image. That I am good enough the way I am. And that He loves me, unconditionally.  Now, how about that, for a reason to be totally thankful for?? And yes, I find it difficult to praise and thank the Lord when I have those moments of feeling bad. But I just want to remind myself that there are so many things to be thankful for.

Just take a look at the journaling for other reasons that I am THANKFUL for. This is just a short writing of thankful things. But there are so many other things.
What are you thankful for in your life? Or are you struggling with your life and feeling like you have nothing to be thankful for? Please feel free to share, so I can pray for you, if you want me to.

Thanks for being with us. Feel free to create a project and post it over on Paper Tree House Studio. We would love to bless you!

Hop on over to Marjolaine and read about here project.

Big hug to you!

I love your project Wendy! What a great idea! We all have so much to be thankful for - we just forget that fact. Just the fact that we wake up every morning to this beautiful world we live in is reason enough to be thankful :) Lately, we have been struggling financially like a lot of people, but I am thankful that my hubby and I both still have jobs and we own our home and we have food to eat. We may not have everything we want, but we have what we need. As Christmas approaches, I start to stress out about how we are going to buy gifts and I have to stop and remind myself that the gifts are not important. Jesus is the reason for the season and there is nothing else that really matters. Instead of stressing, we should be thankful that we have our family and friends alive and well. I pray every day that I will remember that in this commercially crazed world we live in. We are making all of our gifts this year and I am excited to gift these gifts of love. Thanks for sharing your sweet thoughts.

I love your layout and your write-up is so touching. Your transparency brings help, healing, and hope. I pray that God will continue to use you as well as bring you out of it. It's so refreshing to know and feel His presence in the midst of our storms.

Please pray for my heart. Just going through a lot still as we close this year out.

Take care sister and thank you in advance for your prayers.
